Join us for our Second Biennial Gathering in Portland, Oregon!

We are hosting our conference this year at the first LEED certified convention center in the northwest, in one of the most progressive, green cities in the country. We invite you to join us to share and learn about creating and building sustainable, green environments in tribal communities through seminars, panel discussions, and field trips. We’ve reserved you a block of rooms at a Green Seal certified hotel just a five minute walk away and will be hosting you for a banquet dinner featuring local, healthy foods.

Session themes will include: Green Building in Indian Country- Regional working examples · Creating Sustainable Communities, Youth Elder Connections · Solar and Wind Energy Basics · Composting,  Recycling, Source Reduction ·  Native Plant Landscapes & Raingardens ·  Air Quality Programs ·  Environmental Certification Programs  · Sustainable Forestry programs ·  Sustainable parks management  ·  and more!

We are very honored to have Winona LaDuke  as our keynote speaker, one of Indian countries leading activists for empowering native communities through environmental stewardship of tribal lands. We invite you to suggest speakers and offer your own presentation or display. Help spread the word and register today to hold your spot. We look forward to seeing you this summer!
